The nearest taxi ranks are located outside Rydges Fortitude Valley and The Georges Bar on King St, both a short walk from the showgrounds.


The showgrounds have eight separate parking facilities on site with capacity for over 2,500 vehicles. Current car parking rates for the showgrounds are available here. In addition, there’s private parking garages at Costin St and Machinery St.


Multiple bus routes provide access to surrounding streets including Gregory Terrace, Bowen Bridge Rd and O’Connell Terrace. The Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital is the nearest major busway stop, a 10-minute walk from the showgrounds. The showgrounds are conveniently located between Fortitude Valley and Bowen Hills stations, being a 10-minute walk away from both. From the Airport

The Brisbane domestic and international terminals are a short 15-minute journey to the Brisbane Showgrounds via taxi or hire car, and each terminal links up with Bowen Hills & Fortitude Valley train stations via the AirTrain.
