Hometown :
Adelaide Hills, South Australia

We’re so excited to see what the future holds for Ella and Sienna but we wanted to know where it began for them first.
They say home is where the heart is, so where do Ella & Sienna consider their ‘hometown’ to be ?

Mount Barker in South Australia.

Was this where you were born ?

Do you still live there now ?

Sure do!

So excited to have you in Brisbane again! But tell us a bit about your hometown and what makes it feel like home to you ?

Mount Barker is a great little community and we have lots of friends and family that live there.

What are the people of Mount Barker like ?

Most people are friendly and helpful.

What is the most iconic thing about your hometown, what is it famous for ?

Mount Barker is part of the Adelaide Hills, which is an area most famous for wineries and its natural beauty.

I think everyone in our office has had their fair share of wine from the Adelaide Hills! With all the wineries, is there much of a live music scene ?

There’s not a massive music scene in Mount Barker or through the Adelaide Hills, but we do have a couple of local pubs, breweries and wineries that support live music.

Are there any other well-known artists that have come out of your hometown ?

Not yet!

You’ll be the first! That’s pretty exciting! Are there any major influencers from your hometown that have inspired you ?

We are lucky to have great music teachers and very supportive music department at our high school.

Hometown Fest is all about supporting music education, we even have a grant program rolling out this year we’re hoping will help more aspiring musicians like you girls! But back to you!
How has Mount Barker and the people there shaped your music style ?

We started out busking in our home town, which gave us the confidence to further pursue our musical aspirations.

Do you feature or mention your hometown in any of your music yet ?

Aside from the wonderful people in your hometown, who else has inspired you in your music path ?

Our favourite artists of course! Missy Higgins, Kasey Chambers, P!nk, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Vance Joy, the list goes on and on…

We’re excited to welcome you to our Hometown this year – again – what are you looking forward to seeing ?

Other artists and performances!

What can audiences at Hometown Fest expect from your set ?

Plenty of energy, heart and soul, great harmonies… and maybe a few original songs we have been working on recently mixed in with some of our favourite country-rock covers.

Sounds amazing ladies! We can’t wait and we’re sure our audience will be as excited by your talent as we are !!
