At just 19 years old, Bridget O’Shannessy is set to be the new sweetheart of country music. Endearing and engaging with a natural talent for crafting tunes that appeal to a wide audience, it is no surprise this young Australian is attracting the attention of industry taste-makers world-wide.

Don’t let O’Shannessy’s age fool you. Already an award-winning singer-songwriter, Bridget first sang on stage at just nine; has opened for Gotye’s ‘The Basics’; performed at numerous high profile events, including Tamworth Country Music Festival, Gympie Muster and Rockin’ Rocky alongside Love and Theft, and Drew Baldridge. Most recently O’Shannessy showcased her voice on Channel 9’s Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols and on the catwalks of London Fashion Week, Shanghai Fashion Week, Vancouver Eco Fashion Week and Green Fashion Week in Las Vegas, Death Valley and Los Angeles.

Having conquered 17,000 streams on her most recent single ‘Some Other Girl’, she begins her next adventure with the release of her brand new single ‘Long Dirt Road’ in January this year. It’s all guns blazing for this young artist as she wraps up production of her next releases throughout 2019.

Like most people her age, Bridget is out discovering the world and what it has to offer. However, she spends her days in the studio with her band creating new sounds, developing out-of-the-box marketing strategies with her team and performing all around the world with amazing artists and bands. Proving that Bridget is not just some other girl, her songs and passion for the music industry have caught the attention of the likes of Cole Clark Guitars, Jeff Garner of Prophetik Designs and many more.

O’Shannessy is ready to share her new contemporary country sound with the world, with her brand new music due for release throughout 2019.

It was not long before he signed a contract with MCA Nashville and released a four song E P titled ‘X2C’, with his first single ‘Leave the Night On’ that went on to be number one on the Country Airplay chart. His debut studio album ‘Montevallo’ soon followed, along with his acoustic mixtape, that reached number one on the Top Country Albums chart and had a 11 weeks reign.

He has recently released his second studio album and has made two successful tours of the US. Sam Hunt is quite active on social media. He has a huge fan following on Twitter and Facebook, and quite a number of subscribers to his YouTube channel. The young man is happily married. He certainly is a rising star in the American country music scene.

  • His talent with the guitar and flair for composing lyrics, coupled with a rich country music male voice, soon became well-known in country music circles of Nashville. In 2012, he co-wrote the number one single hit ‘Come Over’ with Kenny Chesney. His work received positive reviews and he was felicitated with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers Award which gave a boost to his budding career.
  • The following year he released his own single number ‘Raised on It’ and launched his website with a free mixtape of 12 songs titled ‘Between the Pines’. He also wrote two singles for Keith Urban and Billy Currington which topped the American country music charts.
  • In 2014, he signed a contract with MCA Nashville and released a four song E P titled ‘X2C’. The EP was listed at number 36 on the US Billboard 200 and served as a prelude to his debut studio album. His first single ‘Leave the Night On’ went on to be number one on the Country Airplay chart in October that year.
  • His debut studio album titled ‘Montevallo’ was released in October 2014 along with his acoustic mixtape, ‘Between the Pines’. Within a month, his debut album reached number one on the Top Country Albums chart and number three on the US Billboard 200. Hunt became the first country music singer after Clint Black to have his debut studio album and single top the charts in the same year.
